PolygonPunks are NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. Each of these 10,000 PolygonPunks were listed and minted on Opensea.io. 8000 PolygonPunks were sold out in the space of 11 hours. After $1,300,000 million dollars in sales were completed, Opensea.io delisted all 10,000 Polygonpunks from their website which left investors without a marketplace to trade. Opensea.io claimed they received a takedown notice from the DMCA (in their discord channel) after receiving an order from another NFT company, they have not provided any evidence of this, neither have they made a public statement to address the matter to the thousands of angry and confused PolygonPunk investors. They have not responded to the hundreds of questions from the community of who have been seeking answers on their social media channels. They allowed counterfeit “Poly Punk” NFT’s to remain listed. Opensea has acted incompetently and exposed their platform as an unsafe space for NFT buyers and sellers.
