The WDFW Commission is scheduled to meet Aug 4th and 5th at the Natural Resources building, Olympia. There are three time slots where the public can speak on issues that are not included on the agenda. The Secret Meetings are not included of course! This is your opportunity to speak directly to the leadership of WDFW and let them know your views on the Secret Meetings! Your comments will become part of the permanent record of the Commission meeting and will have great weight if we can get enough sportsmen and women to show! IT IS TIME TO STAND UP AND BE HEARD! Prepare a short statement, three minutes or under, which you can read to the Commission and WDFW leadership. When you arrive at the meeting, sign in and let them know you want to speak at the general comments portion. You will then be called up and given three minutes to speak your mind! The Meeting Location is: Natural Resources Building 1111 Washington St SE Olympia WA 98501 First Floor, Room 172 On Friday, August 4th there are two comment periods: 8:15 A.M. and 2:55 P.M You can speak at either one. On Saturday, August 5th, there is only one comment period: 8:00 A.M. We are counting on you, make every effort to go to one of these comment periods and speak up for fairness and transparency in our fisheries. Contact your fishing partners, form a car pool, do what it takes to get there, it's that important!
