Major Update: City Moves on Rail Bridge Access

Hi everyone — I’m Patrice Boyle, owner of La Posta and the person who started this petition.

Today, Santa Cruz Mayor and RTC Commissioner Fred Keeley, along with Commissioners Justin Cummings and Manu Koenig, formally requested that the RTC authorize temporary pedestrian and bike access on the unused rail bridge. This is a huge step. The proposal will be heard at a special RTC meeting tomorrow, August 7, at 12:00 PM:
