Hi everyone — this is an update for those who signed the 2-Way Murray Street Bridge petition.

The Santa Cruz City Council meets tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, at 2:30 p.m. This is our opportunity to speak directly to Council during Oral Communications and urge them to support two-way traffic on the Murray Street Bridge using a temporary automated signal.

⚠️ Important: The bridge is not on the formal agenda. That makes public comment even more critical.

This is when members of the public may address Council on issues not on the agenda.

WHAT TO SAY (briefly):

• You support two-way traffic on the Murray Street Bridge
• A temporary automated signal is practical and affordable
• One-way traffic continues to harm residents, businesses, and access
• You are asking Council to direct staff to act

Even a short statement matters. Council needs to hear that this issue is not going away.
