ACTION NEEDED TOMORROW — TUESDAY, JANUARY 27 at 2:30 PM
Hi everyone — this is an update for those who signed the 2-Way Murray Street Bridge petition.
The Santa Cruz City Council meets tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, at 2:30 p.m. This is our opportunity to speak directly to Council during Oral Communications and urge them to support two-way traffic on the Murray Street Bridge using a temporary automated signal.
⚠️ Important: The bridge is not on the formal agenda. That makes public comment even more critical.

WHEN TO SPEAK
Oral Communications begin at 2:30 p.m.
This is when members of the public may address Council on issues not on the agenda.
WHAT TO SAY (briefly):
- You support two-way traffic on the Murray Street Bridge
- A temporary automated signal is practical and affordable
- One-way traffic continues to harm residents, businesses, and access
- You are asking Council to direct staff to act
Even a short statement matters. Council needs to hear that this issue is not going away.
Thank you for continuing to show up — your voice is essential.
