Urgent Humanitarian Petition

We, the undersigned, issue this urgent humanitarian appeal to the United Nations, the European Union, international humanitarian organizations, and all relevant regional and international actors.

The city of Kobani is currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis due to the closure of humanitarian aid routes, resulting in critical shortages of:

Food
Medicine
Medical supplies
Essential basic needs
The continued blockage of humanitarian access places thousands of civilians — including children, women, and the elderly — at serious risk, and constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law, which guarantees civilians the right to receive humanitarian assistance without obstruction.

We urgently call for:

The immediate and unconditional opening of a humanitarian aid corridor to Kobani
Safe, continuous, and unhindered access for humanitarian organizations
The full depoliticization of humanitarian aid and its protection from any military or political conflict
Silence in the face of this suffering means complicity.
Saving lives in Kobani is a humanitarian and moral responsibility that cannot be delayed.
