Beloved in Christ - Thank you so much for signing the Open Letter calling our leaders in Washington D.C. to humble themselves before God.
This Open Letter has now received over 100 signatures! Our next step is to believe God to raise up at least 1,000 serious-minded Christians, from all 50 states, to sign it.
Having additional signatures is important because the more people who sign this letter, the more likely our elected officials will be to take it seriously.
Also, I believe that God is pleased when His people - lots of His people - hold their leaders accountable to what is good and right in His eyes.
To help, please take three simple steps:
- Ask God for the names of 10 serious-minded Christians to text or email the letter to. Here's the link: https://www.change.org/p/open-letter-to-the-united-states-government
- In your text or email, let them know that you have signed the letter, and ask them to consider signing it.
- In your text or email, ask him or her to forward the link to 5-10 of their Christian friends.
So far, I have found it significantly more fruitful to text one Christian friend at a time rather than sending out a group email.
As our nation hangs in the balance before a holy God, I cannot think of anything more important than giving our leaders - Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents - the opportunity to humble themselves before God.
