Mobilizing for Justice: An Advocacy Movement
Three and a half months after launching our petition for an impartial investigation into allegations against Mike Bickle and IHOPKC, we've seen incredible support, with 4,426 backers and nearly 100,000 views. The public outcry has sparked an entire advocacy movement, fueled by the voices of past and present staff, ministry leaders, and survivors, who continue to call for a thorough investigation into the reported abuses.

Many more survivors are finding their voices after years of silence, emboldened by the courage of survivors like Jane Does, Tammy Woods, and TH, who have bravely shared their stories, spotlighting the deficiencies of the Lathrop Report and the need for an authentic third-party probe. The growing online and media coverage of abuse stories further underscores the urgency of this issue.

Toward Accountability: Introducing the Reporting System
In the absence of a third party, a crucial development in this journey is the introduction of a Reporting System by Caleb Aponte, a Missouri sex crimes prosecutor and co-counsel with Boz Tchividjian for several IHOPKC survivors. This system, designed to confidentially collect abuse reports, marks a pivotal step towards holding IHOPKC accountable. Aponte's critique of the Lathrop Report for failing victims and overlooking new cases emphasizes the importance of this new tool in supporting survivors and challenging IHOPKC's culture of silence.

The Reporting System, accessible at reportihopkc.org, is a comprehensive platform for victims, witnesses, and parents to report various forms of abuse, including emotional, psychological, physical, and financial. It also offers a safe avenue for whistleblowers to submit sensitive information. Aponte encourages all to use this platform, regardless of the case's strength or the statute of limitations, ensuring every voice is heard.
