We call on all friends of Palestine in Scotland to gather/lobby outside the Stand Up to Racism (SUTR) campaigns steering committee meeting to make our voices heard. We will assemble from 13:15 before the meeting begins at 14:00. We believe that a decision will finally be made on whether or not to allow Friends of Israel and other Zionist organisations to once again participate in SUTR’s march in Glasgow, 17th March. Our open letter to SUTR now has the backing of almost 900 people online and we have over 100 signatures gathered on street stalls and protests in Glasgow. We have and will continue to publicly challenge SUTR to state publicly that Zionist organisations such as the Friends of Israel are not welcome on and will be excluded from their coming march if they attempt to join it. We must show the Palestinian people that we stand with them against Zionism, colonialism and imperialism – from Scotland to Palestine!
