WRT to the animosity between HFM powers that be and the vendors it has not improved. And this week a board member RESIGNED over the situation. In their letter to the board chair they expressed frustration at a lack of kindness and community perspective.
What to do? Can the board be reformed from the inside? History has shown that reform can come from either inside or outside.
Time for the farmers and other vendors to request a professionally mediated session. This was a key ask in this petition. If a supporter of the market you can also ask for this and you can support your favorite farmers and vendors by letting them know you support them.
