The second draft of the Village of Chester Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law Review documents has been presented to Municipal Council, and a copy of the revised documents are available here:

These changes will also be presented to the Village Planning Advisory Committee TODAY, March 12th, at 4 pm in Council Chambers located at 151 King Street, Chester. This meeting is open to the Public for those who want to attend today!

There will also be public meetings presentations on the revised plan held on 

March 26th, @ 2:30-4:30 pm;

March 28th, @ 6:00-8:00 pm 

At the St. Stephen's Community Centre, 54 Regent Street.

Once these meetings are completed the Planning Department will provide feedback to Council so that any final changes can be requested by Council. Then the final draft will go for a first reading by council, and the Review will move towards the finalization stages. This means its essential we remain engaged now by reviewing the proposed changes, and offering any further feedback required.
