Declaration on the Catalan Crisis: Letter to The Guardian

Dear all, we - the 32 Catalan philosophers, both independentists and anti-independentists, who first signed the Declaration on the Catalan Crisis - thought our petition directed at the Spanish and Catalan gov'ts and parliaments was dead on Oct. 10. But it is not. Neither has a clear-cut declaration of independence been made by the Catalan government, nor has Catalan autonomy already been suspended by the Spanish government. De-escalation is still possible, but time is running out now.
