All Government schools including primary schools are open from today onwards. I want to thank and appreciate the Odisha RTE forum, NGOs, educationalists, civil society organisations who kept appealing to Odisha government to open the schools while supporting students through bridge programs at community level. Schools in Maharashtra and Karnataka, the states which had more covid cases are open long before. Finally, today the primary schools are also open and welcomed students after a long gap of 24 months. We want to thank each one of you who signed the petition, commented and shared why the schools must be open as soon as possible. We really appreciate this effort.
