Open A New Creative Area At Electric Picnic 2027 (Pottery, Painting & More)
The Issue
Electric Picnic is one of Ireland's most beloved festivals, bringing together music lovers and creatives from across the globe. We are asking the festival to open up a new space that focuses on arts, skills, crafts, learning and whacky competitions and craic.
We are proposing a brand new space at the festival that includes.
A Pottery Studio: A fully functional waterproof studio that people can learn to throw pottery. Imagine making your own cup, bowl or unique pottery piece at a festival! (never been done before)
Glow In The Dark Studio: A dedicated space where people can come and paint a canvas with UV. At night it transforms into a UV facepainting rave.
Arts & Crafts Zone: A space where people can paint a tote bag, create a friendship bracelet, make a collage of their weekend and do something different.
Alt Festival Stage: A place to hold events like Lookalike Competitions, Live Festival Dating Events, Festival Lectures and Unconventional performances...
One More Tune: A small stage where beginner DJ's can perform for the first time.
We would love a creative space that isn't focused on alcohol, somewhere you can come create, collaborate, listen, learn and party.
- Imagine being able to learn to do pottery for free? Learn to throw on a wheel at a festival!
- Imagine going to a lecture at a music festival and hearing interesting ideas!
- Imagine going to a Shrek Lookalike Competition or one of many whacky events!
- Imagine somewhere you could chill and create a friendship bracelet with all your friends or even alone and make new friends.
- Imagine going to a live festival dating event where you can pitch your friends to an audience live on powerpoint.
If you think this is a good idea then take 10 seconds to sign the petition. If we get 500 signatures we will send it to the Electric Picnic team.
