As many of you will be aware, there is a by-election that will be taking place in Borehamwood Brookmeadow tomorrow, and I am the Conservative candidate.

When I created this petition, it was not my intention for it to become political, but Labour's response to it has been incredibly disappointing. Accusing me of "playing politics with banking", they claim that we already have sufficient access to cash and banking services in Borehamwood.

A fake Facebook account was even made to discredit me and my campaign for a Banking Hub, as many of you will have seen on Facebook yesterday.

I have always maintained that the Council cannot deliver a Banking Hub alone, but can play a crucial role in bringing one to Borehamwood.

I apologise if campaigning for our community is "playing politics" - I believe it is what makes someone a good councillor. I live in Borehamwood, and therefore Borehamwood's local issues are my local issues.

Therefore, whoever you vote for tomorrow, if you live in Borehamwood Brookmeadow (north of Shenley Road and west of the brook/Brook Road), please remember to vote! Polls are open from 7am-10pm and you will need ID.
