This petition is to fight against the punishment given to Dr. Mahavir Singh Rekhi who was caught on tape choking, and hitting animals at a veterinary hospital in St. Catharines, Ontario, CA.  These kinds of incidences do not get as much attention as they should and this animal cruelty needs to be stopped. 

The people you trust the most with your animals are ones who can do some of the worst things to them. They may feel a sense of power with their status and their access to tools and drugs that can truly harm animals when they are meant to heal and save them. 

Someone like this SHOULD NOT have a licence to practice on animals, and they are only planning on a suspension for his punishment which is an absolute joke. 

PLEASE sign this petition if you think that this individual should never have the chance to practice on animals EVER again, if you believe that a suspension is way too lenient of a punishment, and if you believe that animal cruelty NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.
