As you may, or may not already know, our calls for this change to be canceled were ignored by those in charge and the 7-night limit came into effect regardless.

Hopefully, they realize that this decision isn't the right one, and come up with real solutions to the lack of available sites. (Psssst... The answer is to build more.)

I have noticed that there is a CAPTCHA verification system that does pop up when on the reservations site, so this is a welcome addition to the site against bots. Though not perfect, it's a small start to some level of verification.

Of course, that means nothing against no-shows and partial cancellations, but hey, I'm sure they'll say they're "trying".

I will leave the petition up and open, so you can reference it if you're ever in a conversation with someone (maybe even someone in the Ontario Parks system) who might be willing to listen to what we have to say.

Thanks for all your support, and I intend to push again before the start of next year's booking season to have this limit removed.
