Ontario regulations prohibit the entry of well behaved dogs into the seating area of most restaurants. The has virtually no impact on health and safety or hygiene and is not in-line with practices in other advanced countries (e.g. many European countries such as Austria). It infringes on the ability of dog owners to travel or do errands with their pets. 

I call on the government of Ontario to repeal this archaic prohibition and allow animals into such restaurants, where they can sit quietly and peacefully under their owner's tables.
