Revoke Dr. Jennifer Margaret Armstrong's Medical License

The Issue

Dr. Jennifer Margaret Armstrong, "environmental doctor" at the Ottawa Environmental Health Clinic in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is responsible by way of medical malpractice for the suicide of a 19-year-old woman.

Dr. Armstrong administered vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to the young woman as a method of treatment for her history of suicide attempts and hospitalizations.

In a disciplinary finding, Dr. Armstrong admitted to failing to uphold a proper standard of medical care. The finding also noted that a standard mental health assessment was never performed.

In response, the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons declined to revoke Dr. Armstrong's medical license, instead requiring that current patients must find other doctors before the end of January, otherwise they will not be able to continue under her care. New doctors must receive regular updates on Armstrong’s treatments for patients who remain.

This is a slap on the wrist considering Dr. Armstrong's direct involvement in the death of this young woman.

Those afflicted with mental illness are not disposable and this young woman's death should not be in vain.

Do your part.

Sign the petition to force the CPSO to revoke Dr. Armstrong's medical license, do justice for this young woman, and protect future patients from Dr. Armstrong's medical malpractice.
