Thank you for signing. What now? Please share petition & read below for further action

You have taken the most important step, of signing the petition, and possibly commenting to show your disapproval of the proposed Mangaung budget, increased tariff and R3m salary for the municipal manager and some of his line managers. We have over 2600 supporters already!. What now? Lets show them how many taxpayers in Bloemfontein feel the same!
1. Thank you for signing. The next step is to share this petition to all residents in Bloemfontein and ask them to sign to support our call for lower or no tariff increases. They can sign at: https://www.change.org/NOtoMangaungTariffIcreases
2. Then you can also personally view the IDP, Budget (MTREF), SDF and other supporting documents (sector plans) at mangaung.co.za and then submit all written comments and enquiries regarding the draft’s documents via email to the following persons:
IDP and Sectoral Plans enquiries: Monyake.mothekhe@mangaung.co.za and Lebohang.pita@mangaung.co.za
MTREF Budget and Budget Related Policies enquiries: Mathapelo.masisi@mangaung.co.za, Hansie.VanZyl@mangaung.co.za, and lehula.reid@mangaung.co.za
You are also welcome to cc ward23@futurefreestate.co.zaThe more emails different residents, businesses and organisations send, the better.
Be sure to mention what you are against, and what you propose.
E.g.: : "I am opposed to any increase in rates and taxes due to bad service delivery, bad governance, the lockdown impact on the economy and I recommend zero increases, but at most any rates and taxes increases should be below inflation"
Or "I propose a decrease in the salary of the municipal manager, as he is earning the same as the president of South Africa, while Mangaung has deteriorated hugely under his administration" Or
"I do not support the Chief of Metro Police receiving a salary while he has failed to establish a Metro Police Service in more than two years, and there is no evidence of any positive developments under his watch"
You get the point. Tell them why we shouldn't be paying more, and what should rather happen. Remain courteous, and factual.
Remember to share this information with anyone who will be willing to email their comments.
