I’m an artist.

In 2016, a bank started widely using an image of my face on credit cards and other merchandise, without my permission whatsoever.

Soon after that, I spent all my family’s savings fighting this, being charged over $100,000.

The bank’s first response was to claim I didn’t exist.

Next, they threatened to take action if I kept using my own work.

Then they tried to claim ownership of my work and image for the last 14 years.

I’ve not been able to get pro bono support because of legal technicalities.

I decided the only way forward was to represent myself, even though I had no legal training.

I have educated myself over 4 years and managed my case through the NY Supreme Court, surviving 6 court appearances so far, and have defended three motions to dismiss.

I am a proud individual and do not want to ask for help, but now I need some support to continue my battle.
