As you can see the Council has pushed with submitting the new leisure centre to planning without the housing development.
However just the leisure centre looks like a warehouse industrial building and the family and children water space has not even been considered.

There are lots of reasons to object like the loss of family and children’s fun water space.
Financially the £65m which as a load will be £110m < £150m over 50 years. £2.2m - £3m per annum.
The view from the road looks like a warehouse.
Council claiming it would be world beating, first class, ambitious, state of the art, regional draw, but it being none of that. etc
There are lots of reasons to object.
