A huge thank you to everyone who has already signed and shared. We’ve now passed 500 signatures, 534 and climbing, in just three weeks. This shows how passionate people are about protecting our seafront and shaping a better future for the King Alfred site.

That’s a great start, but it’s only the beginning. If we all give it one more push, share the petition, talk to neighbours, and forward it in local groups, we can double this total and make sure our voices reach the people who make the decisions.

This campaign isn’t just about stopping a 400–700 unit housing development from being built on our iconic seafront. It’s about offering an inspiring, community-focused alternative: a modern, expanded leisure centre with so much more, limited only by imagination.
