A huge thank you to everyone who has already signed and shared — we’ve now passed 400 signatures in just two weeks! This shows how passionate people are about protecting our seafront and shaping a better future for the King Alfred site.

But this is only the beginning. If we all push a little more — share the petition, talk to neighbours, forward it in groups — we can double this total and make sure our voices reach those who make the decisions.

This campaign isn’t just about stopping a 400–700 unit housing development from being built on our iconic seafront. It’s about offering an inspiring, community-focused alternative: a modern, expanded leisure centre with so much more, limited only by imagination.
