Dear Signers,

This is a most disappointing moment for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge! Democrats united today to pass a Bill more akin to an economics 101 class than an environmental protection or climate change Bill.  No mention of either topic in the name.  "Inflation Reduction Act"!! 

It does not reduce inflation, does not address climate change in a meaningful ACCOUNTABLE  manner, will place much money in unaccountable pockets and is an appeasement compromise with the OIL AND FOSSIL FUEL INDUSTRY. 

We are most disappointed in the large number of "Environmental Organizations" willing to accept this crumb, that have caved into its deception, after such a long struggle for permanent protection for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

All that said here is action you can take:

Please contact your Representatives and Senators and express your disapproval of the removal of Arctic National Wildlife Refuge protection from their Inflation Reduction Act. Ask that they begin to consider a stand alone transparent and simple Bill that gives PERMANENT PROTECTION for The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
