We can be very pleased that there is language in the reconciliation Bill that will reverse the actions taken by the Trump administration and fund a lease buyback on the leases that were sold for oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This is not permanent protection and the language has to survive negotiations! your continued pressure on your own Senators and Representatives is VERY necessary. One hold out is Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, if you know anyone in Arizona please ask them to call her numbers and ask that she support protection for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
