We passed 2,000 signatures — and our story is now in My Edmonds News, The Herald, the Lynnwood Times, the Edmonds Beacon, MLTnews, and on FOX 13 Seattle. Great job, everyone. This is a fight for our youngest children. They don't have a voice in that boardroom. We are theirs. 

Where things stand: since the board meeting, there's been some contact, but no commitment yet to revisit the 7:20 decision. Momentum is on our side — let's keep it there.

What's next — pick any:

1. Grow the petition. Share it with everyone you know. Every signature is one more voice the board can't ignore.

2. Show up — Tuesday, June 23, 6:30 PM, Educational Services Center, 20420 68th Ave W, Lynnwood. Come early, wear white, bring a sign, and sign up for public comment at the door. 3. Submit a written comment. It enters the official record without you attending. Submit through BoardDocs (look for the June 23 agenda) — even a few sentences counts.

4. Speak at your city council. Edmonds, Lynnwood, Brier, Woodway, and Mountlake Terrace councils hold public-comment periods. Speaking there keeps the pressure public. Check your city's website for dates.

5. Help with outreach. We need help reaching local leaders, reporters, and organizations who can move this. We've built a messaging cheat sheet so you always know what to say.
