On 12th March 2021, Omar was sentenced to 22 years in prison for another man's crime. His co-accused was also sentenced to 19 years in prison for another man's crime.  The Joint Enterprise Law was supposed to have been amended in 2016, yet it is still being used to convict innocent men to make up the conviction numbers.  It is unfair and unjust and it needs to stop. There are many innocent people suffering sentences for crimes they did not commit.  Please continue to sign and share the Petition.  Omar's family and friends will never give up on him.  He is innocent.
