Finally, the Olympic Games have ended. And with them, closed the medal count for Equestrian sports (dressage, jumping and eventing). 18 medals full of animal suffering allowed by all, and enjoyed by many others. 18 medals in which the horses have been forced, with long hours of daily training, for goze and personal enjoyment. Only 18 medals, but they sure are dozens, even hundreds, of exploited horses who have not "be good enough"" to compete in the Rio 2016 games. No doubt many of these horses have been treated with dignity, with good living conditions and well fed. But we have no doubt that many others have been exploited, beaten and tortured for our amusement. It has no sense that Equestrian Sports are considered an Olympic sport. First, by the animal suffering that it entails. And, secondly, because the Olympic Games must be a space of competition between people, not animals. Therefor, we demand to the International Olympic Committe (IOC) that the Equestrian sports no longer being an Olympic sport.

WE CAN NOT AFFORD!

Because in XXI century, we can not be partakers of animal suffering towards our fun.

Finalmente, los Juegos Olímpicos han finalizado. Y con ellos, cerrado el medallero para la Hípica (doma, saltos y concurso completo). 
18 medallas llenas de sufrimiento animal permitido por todos, y disfrutado por muchos otros.
 18 medallas en las que los caballos han sido forzados, con excesivas horas de entrenamiento diarias, para el goze y disfrute personal. 
Sólo 18 medallas, pero seguro que son decenas más, incluso centenares, los caballos explotados que no han "dado la talla" para poder competir en los juegos de Rio 2016. No dudamos que muchos de estos caballos habrán sido tratados con dignidad, con unas buenas condiciones de vida y bien alimentados. Pero no tenemos duda que muchísimos otros habrán sido explotados, golpeados y torturados para nuestra diversión. No tiene ningún sentido que la Hípica sea considerada un deporte olímpico. En primer lugar, por el sufrimiento animal que ello conlleva. Y, en segundo lugar, porque las olimpiadas deben ser un espacio de competición entre personas, y no animales. Por ello, pedimos al Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI) que la Hípica deje de ser un deporte olímpico.

¡NO PODEMOS PERMITIRLO!

Porque en pleno siglo XXI, no podemos ser partícipes del sufrimiento animal en pro de nuestra diversión.
