Cricket has been the 2nd most popular sport under Soccer and above Field Hockey with 2.5 Billion estimated Fans. Cricket has 107 Countries that plays the sport and 25 Countries are included in Asia. To excluding such sport will cause not just decreasing huge number of fans and potential fans, but also it will slow down or even stop the growth of Cricket in countries which have invested in a huge amount of time and effort for the long future of Cricket. Asian Games is the largest multi-sport events in Asia, with the objectives of educating Asian youth and to promote international respect, goodwill, and peace through sport. Cricket is a perfect vessel to promote the values of respect and peace, the game teaches everyone to respect the officials, opponents and the game itself. It is called gentlemen’s game because of it flows with manners. Thus, Cricket also bring peace to the game. Cricket should help promote important values to Asian youth, with the capital of 2.5 billion fans, OCA should reconsider the existence of the sport in Asian Games. Cricket has been played from Guangzhou to Incheon, and should be continue to the next Asian Games because of its values and importance of the sport that can affect positive spirit to Asian Youth and people, ultimately to the world. Competing in Asian Games is very important to these cricketing countries as for some of them, it is the only stage that they can shine, and be proud of because it is the biggest stage in Asia.
