We are lost more people in 2014 to drugs than guns, falling, or traffic accidents according to the CDC. I am sure these numbers have went up due to the growing epidemic of addiction. I also think that drugs can play a role in lots of other deaths that we do not take into account such as suicide, and accidents. Why can we not get more laws to help those who are affected by addiction? The government wants to pass harsher gun control, and make it harder for people to get a driver's license so that it is safer to drive, yet they are failing to properly address the addiction epidemic. There are 85 million people who are affected by addiction in the United States alone, and we must take a stand to help those that we love. There has got to be away to stop this epidemic from continuing to grow. Let's stand together and defeat the addiction epidemic. Every day 120 of our loved ones in the United States will die from addiction. So each day matters because every one of these lives matter.
