Addiction is more common than many realize. There were approximately 20.6 million people in the United States over the age of 12 with an addiction in 2011. Addiction does not discriminate against anyone. No one is exempt. Your child/grandchild/family member may face it one day. Wouldn't you want to help the person you loved.This petition will give family a way to seek help for their loved one suffering from addiction. It is not funded by the state but by each individual family that seeks help for an addict.
