Save Your U-Haul Location in Oklahoma City!

The Issue

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Bricktown has proudly served Oklahoma City since 1977. We have invested in our facility at 100 SE 2nd St. for decades, knowing it would become a great location to meet the community’s needs as OKC continued to grow.

Now the city is looking at building a road through our property at an enormous cost to our store and OKC taxpayers. To reconfigure our store to meet the city’s requests, it will cost more than $4.8 million – a price the city balked at during friendly negotiations. In addition to the uninvited costs, we would be unable to best serve the community with its moving and storage needs during an extensive renovation.

The city is currently considering an eminent domain case against our store, which will only cost more taxpayer dollars, take more time and leave our business in limbo. There are other and better ways to connect the old and new city alignments. We must stand together to keep OKC moving and growing without unfairly penalizing the caring and cooperative tenants of Bricktown!

Help us save our store and show support for the Bricktown community. Sign our petition here.
