During the past two weeks three of Ohio's Legislators have reached out to gather information about the draconian measures taken by the STRS Ohio Board.  As most of you are aware the STRS Board took action, granted to it by the Ohio Legislature, and reduced retired teachers  COLA to zero for what is now going on four years.  A number of legislators were shocked.  What helped draw attention to the crisis was the 28,000 plus signatures on this petition.

What is now needed is for the newest petition (http://chng.it/FsVXsMgp  to be quickly distributed. This petition contains specific recommended action for the Ohio Legislature or STRS Board to adopt.  Please take action and help Ohio's Retired Teachers regain their cost of living adjustment
