We are grateful, gratified, and thrilled that the nationally-renowned ecologist talks about the Drew Forest!  Dr. Tallemy praises the Forest as a “regionally important biodiversity hotspot” and “an urban forest of exceptional value.” (Watch the Youtube video here.) 

We hope that you will share the video and further share the our petition now!  Help us reach the important milestone of 15,000 signatures!

And if you aren’t familiar with Professor Tallamy’s work, please see his website, homegrownnationalpark.org.  If you own a yard of any size, are a member of a homeowner’s association, or have any time to volunteer, you can help further Tallamy’s grass roots mission to create ecological networks that will turn the tide of species and ecosystem losses.  Small efforts by many people can ensure the continuation of ecological services (oxygen, clean water, pollination, carbon storage, etc.) that we humans need.  Check it out!
