It’s been brought to my attention that tours, unsolicited sales and a band of folks are surrounding Nip’s and Samiel’s place of business doing some fucc shit. Food trucks are parked at the scene and shit NOT trademarked by The Marathon Clothing (Smart) Store are being sold. One individual described the scene as a “swap meet”.
There is a difference in paying your respects and visiting Slauson and Crenshaw with love, remembrance and unity. These folks and side businesses have violated by making a profit off of the death of the King of LA. Nip would’ve embraced anyone’s thought to hustle with open arms. Yet, the very fact that this would’ve never taken place had his physical still been of this earth but they would’ve been put out.
They will be PUT OUT. I’ll be visiting The Marathon Clothing (Smart) Store around 11am to remind everyone that we are grieving, that this is STILL Nips place of business, HIS HOUSE.
