Dear Citizens,

Today, the Supreme Court bench of Chief Justice of India & Justice Deepak Gupta refused to grant any interim reliefs on the Coastal Road matter to BMC. The BMC pressed for an interim stay to allow some work to avoid damage during monsoon. The CJI, in jest said "We cant stay the monsoons" and refused to hear any more pleas by the BMC. Hearings will continue on 20th August 2019.
