Because of this amazing petition I have been run off my feet today with interviews, phone calls, emails, messages at every turn. It has been exhausting.  Look for us in the press and online, we are on radio too.  The Firework Campaign hard at it as usual.

We are off to deliver this petition to No 10 Downing Street tomorrow. So exciting to get to go to No 10 at last. It has been a long time coming. What with covid and the election, moving house and a few other domestic issues, it's been delayed. We were going to go when we hit a million but something always got in the way.

It seems a good time to go now. A new government, some very friendly and supportive MPs and it's the 5th November tomorrow.

I want to thank every single one of you (1,069,000 so far) for signing our petition and all the others I have sent you over the years. We, The Firework Campaign, are not stopping our campaign , this is just one big step on the way.

Without you we would not have carried on since 2013. So again I say THANK YOU.

I will update you on how it goes tomorrow when I have time to consider it all.

As an aside I also want to thank the charities that are supporting this cause, whether with us or doing their own thing to change firework law. Also The Firework Working Group, some of whom are supporting me tomorrow.

RSPCA     BHS    REDWINGS,    Dogs Trust,    Assistance Dogs,   see you there!

If you are a business or an organisation please consider joining AFLR   Thank you x
