Edinburgh has become the first Scottish council to vote for a ban on the use of fireworks in certain parts of the city around Bonfire Night.

In 2022 the Scottish Government gave powers to the councils to designate FCZ (firework control zones). Other councils are in consultations.. Please check to see if your council is asking for opinions.

This is great news for the whole of the UK, the powers that be are realising that fireworks are not fun for everyone and need to be more controlled. 

Don't forget to write to your MP, even if they don't reply. The letters/emails are counted.
