Yes, you are absolutely right. The debate did not go according to plan, sadly the minister seemed to be saying the same thing he said in 2020 which was regurgitated from 2019. BUT we will not be put off. We would like to secure the 2022 debate with another gov petition. Just to keep the pressure on. This is the petition we are backing for this year. 

THIS CHANGE PETITION IS FLYING SO THANK YOU SO MUCH, ALL OF YOU. I said I wanted a million, who remembers that far back? I  never believed it really. We can do it though. When I spoke to the minister after the debate I told him I hadn't reached everyone who had a problem,  YET! I will give it a good go though.  We need to share both petitions to anyone and everyone. If you are in a dog club or at a livery yard. If you are a member of an organization whose members are affected. If you go to the vets you could pop up a poster. If you work in a residential setting where maybe people don't have access to the internet, help them sign. Do you have elderly relatives who would like to sign? Anywhere really. I know for a fact that more than a million people want fireworks to be displays only. We just need to reach them. This could be one of the biggest change petitions EVER!
