WOW!! Government petition is at 294,000, CLOSES 21st Jan .. thank you so much to all the change members who have signed it. 

It would be immense if we could get over 300,000 but really I am happy with 294,000.  This is our 5th Gov petition that has gained enough signatures to be debated. The debates have caused government dept OPSS to collect data to inform their decisions. It has encouraged the Scottish Government to hold a public consultation and the UK Petitions Committee to instigate an inquiry. ALL of these things are us heading in the right direction. 

I agree it doesn't seem like we have got very far in the 7 years I have been doing this......BUT ..... we have got further than anyone else and at least we are making the government work for their money..
