IF/WHEN THEY DECIDE TO DEBATE THE LAST PETITION.. We need everyone to write to their MP and ask that they attend on their behalf.

The Committee agreed to postpone decisions on the following petitions: 

Ban fireworks for general sale to the public. The Petitions Committee conducted an inquiry into fireworks in the last Parliament and published its report on 5 November 2019. You can read the report and find out more about the inquiry here.  The new Petitions Committee agreed it would wait for the Government to provide its formal response to the Committee’s report before it schedules a debate on this petition.

Please keep this line of communication open. We will need to move fast if we decide to start another petition after this debate. I will let you know the debate date as soon as I find out
