Fireworks cause pets to run. (action)

Even if microchipped you may never get them back https://www.change.org/p/fernslaw-update-the-current-pet-microchip-system-to-help-reunite-stolen-and-missing-dogs-and-cats

This petition is asking that ALL animals taken to the vet for the first time are scanned. It's a crazy situation. They make us pay for microchipping but then no-one is obliged to scan.

IT IS COMPULSORY TO MICROCHIP OUR DOGS BUT OPTIONAL TO SCAN AND CHECK MICROCHIP REGISTRATION.

Please sign.  It's just another bit of the jigsaw to keep our animals safe.
