It seems a bit ridiculous these days to do a countdown.... Remember remember when it was just the 5th of November (or the weekend either side?)
These days the 'firework season' lasts from October to January, even the government are calling it the 'firework season'.
MPs need to understand how badly random fireworks affect YOU. Please write to yours, even if you have written before and even if you got the standard letter back. OR...they will think you have gone away with your tail between your legs!
Here Andrew Griffiths MP talking about the Office of Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) at then end of the most recent firework debate in January 2018.
"I am delighted to say to the hon. Lady that the new body will have the power to make recommendations to Government, so if it believes there are issues in relation to the sale and regulation of a particular item—be that a tumble dryer or a firework—it will have that power to make recommendations about those issues to Government, and it will be for Ministers to respond to such recommendations."
We need to make sure it KNOWS there are issues. !

- Please share this petition to anyone, or any organisation whose members, you know are affected by random fireworks.
- Write to your MP, it's quick and easy on here. It doesn't matter if they reply with standard letter. They can't then deny they have been told of the problem.
