Open Investigation Into Barn Fires In Ontario
The Issue
An unprecedented amount of barn fires are occurring in Southern Ontario this year (links provided below). Many farmers are losing their livestock all over Southern Ontario due to one reason: fire. No formal investigation has been launched to determine whether systematic arson was involved or (hopefully) not.
Why have we not heard any investigatory news into these fires which have at this point ceased to be coincidental? Such information would be helpful to farmers and their livestock regardless of cause. A province-wide investigation into these fires must be launched with full transparency by the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal.
