There are animals suffocating and dying everyday in their own habitats due to the lack of respect and acknowledgment that humans have had for these animals’ lives. The main goal of this petition is to affect the coast of NJ by implementing at least hopefully three dozen robots that would effectively clean these oceans and we would have plastic to reuse and recycle, rather than waste and murder.  These robots already exist and taxes in NJ are more than enough to pay for at least three dozen. This is the first step and hopefully not the last. The larger goal is to have the entire east coast of America hopefully take part in this as well however, NJ is the main focus right now.  New Jersey is our home and we should be doing much more to take care of it and Earth as well. This petition is not just for New Jersey to step up their game, it is also a statement that people have the power to change what the government has been working it’s way around for quite some time. It is our within our constitutional rights to fight for and change the preservation of our country’s oceans and wildlife, and we should not have to explain this. This petition is more than you signing a name and clicking a button, it is you saving your children and their children the suffering they might have to endure due to the lack of care humans have had for the planet, this involves food shortage, less places for beach trips, explaining why certain animals no longer exist. It is out of past generations’ hands now and it is in the hands of this country’s children to take over because believe it or not we are the future. I am only 16 but I do hope that this petition truly does make it farther than NJ and hopefully even farther than the Eastern coast.
