To my fellow supporters, advocates and friends, first I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Claire and fellow supporters of Mom's Demand Action Against Gun Violence, and Patricia of Crime Survivors. These are women who fight tirelessly against gun violence and violence against women and have supported my efforts to get justice for Ellis. And finally to all those who have signed my petition may God bless you and keep you in his loving arms. God has blessed that I am 901 signatures from my goal of 5,000 and it is because of you that your heart was touched to help a me get justice for my son Ellis. I visited him yesterday only to be greeted by his signature smile that warmed my grieving heart just to let him know that I love him and thank him for being such a wonderful son, and I will fight until my last breath to see that you get justice. Before I left I said a prayer lifting up my voice to Jesus as he said I could to cast all my care on him, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. IT IS WRITTEN!!!
