Today's CFQ nugget comes from Camden's Design Review Panel, which finds:
"The panel is concerned that the uses the tower will host seem speculative, and that a convincing case has not been presented to show that they, or the building, are required....the panel also "thinks that the proposed Heathgate Tower is too tall, and will have too great an impact in views. At a minimum, it should be half the proposed height."
If film studios for Kentish Town were in such demand, why is the UK's Pinewood Studios now converting to data centres? According to the company, "there has been a reduction in global film and high-end television production which has triggered a review of our existing planning consent."
