Maribyrnong City Council has lodged an objection to the Ministerial planning application for the proposed expansion of NEXTDC.

‘We recognise the role data infrastructure plays in supporting Victoria’s economy. But this proposal, in Council’s view, does not adequately reflect the protection of the surrounding environment, specifically Stony Creek.’
