UPDATE 17 July 2018: Referring to the previous update where CASE urged the oBike customers to submit their refund request on a micro site set up by the liquidators ... Many of you commented and shared concern about the form appearing "phishy" and requesting too much personal information. I agree with those comments. The Google form is indeed requesting too much personal information. I personally would not feel comfortable sharing all that information with an unknown entity. The risk is worth much more than the value of the deposit ($49). I suggest not submitting your personal information via that form, and instead contact CASE (over the hotline) to find a better alternative. UPDATE July 18, 2018: You can share your concerns with the liquidators by sending them an email at obike@fticonsulting.com . Refer to this article for more on the importance of protecting your privacy: https://mothership.sg/2018/07/obike-deposit-refund-form/ CASE posted the following update on Facebook. [Update on oBike - 12 July 2018] The provisional liquidators of oBike Asia Pte Ltd ("oBike") have announced that affected consumers with existing deposits with oBike should submit their claim together with their relevant supporting documents (e.g. credit card/PayPal statements) online at https://www.obikedepositholders.com/ as soon as possible. The liquidators will examine and adjudicate on all claims received. Consumers who are unsure about the submission of claims may contact CASE for further assistance (hotline: 6100 0315, website: www.case.org.sg).
