We are one step closer to claiming victory on this petition, and we are ever so grateful for every signature, every share, and every kind word you have given to this campaign. The official crowdfunding site for the Draylen Mason Minority Student Travel Fund is live on Oberlin's givecampus page. We are looking for 350 donors to pledge their support financially to the travel fund by the end of June. This financial support can be given at any amount, and will go directly towards supporting the associated costs for perspective minority students visiting the campus. Because this is a smaller fund than a scholarship, little amounts can have a great impact. $20 is a meal for a student at the Feve (which in my opinion still holds the record for the greatest tots in the world), it is extra gas in the tank, it is a portion of a lesson with one of Oberlin's many esteemed faculty members. It is all greatly needed, and greatly appreciated. The campaign is also looking for match donors and challenge donors, to help entice others towards donating themselves, at present we have nearly $1,000 raised, and there are still 14 days left in the campaign! As always, if it is not in your budget to support the campaign financially at this time (which is 100% understandable), we would still love it if you could share the campaign with your friends, family, and anyone else you could think of.
